How good is Computeach?
I have been studying with Computeach for a while now and so far I have been more than satisfied with the course I enrolled on.
There are many different opinions out there on Computeach and if you search the web on comments about this company you may be shocked at a lot of the negative feedback that is written.
After reading comment after comment I decided to give my own personal feedback towards Computeach and try to bring a bit more of a positive side towards the company.
After a long and hard time thinking about enrolling on a CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) course I eventually called them. After the call I was soon visited by the salesman, he was extremely polite and very enthusiastic and was almost convinced it was for me before he got in the door. Now, first up I used to be a salesman, I know the drill, so lets be realistic, a good salesman can sell ice to the Eskimos! Don't buy the pitch, try to get him out of the sales mode, ask him the right questions. What certificate will I obtain? Where can this qualification take me? How much is it? Can I pull out half way etc etc. Once you have asked all the right questions, take your time and think about it carefully. If you think that a course with Computeach is easy believe me its not. I was a web designer before I started the course so I had a head start and its still rock hard! If any of you have been to University than you will know how hard studying can be, try doing it after you have had a hard day at work.
One of the comments I hear a lot of is that people are disappointed that they didn't get a job straight after the course, but Computeach guaranteed this? Lets get realistic again, no one on this earth can guarantee anything to you, so don't buy it.
I am still studying for my CIW and I am really enjoying it, probably because I didn't let anyone sell the product to me in the wrong way, I just enrolled because I wanted the qualification. I feel that the course content is good and the help you get off the tutors is excellent. Okay it does cost an arm and a leg but so does petrol and council tax!
All I am trying to say is, think hard about it before you enrol, and for those currently studying, good luck.
